El músico y cantante inglés Paul McCartney, ex integrante de Los Beatles, lanzó en Argentina del disco “Pure McCartney”, antología con 39 canciones de su carrera solista.
McCartney se presentó este año en Córdoba y La Plata antes del lanzamiento de esta compilación que incluye gran parte del repertorio de canciones interpretadas en esos shows.
Entre las 39 canciones con lo mejor de su carrera solista de McCartney figuran “Maybe I’m amazed”, “Live and let die”, “Ebony and Ivory”, “Dance tonight” y “New”, entre otros. Uno de los disco que incluye en un doble CD lo más destacado de la carrera de Paul McCartney en sus 45 años con la música con 12 canciones que figuraron en el top 10 tanto en Estados Unidos y en Reino Unido.
“Pure McCartney” incluye temas solistas desde su disco debut “McCartney” en 1970 hasta su simple “Hope for the future” para el video-game “Destiny”. Los temas del disco 1 son: “Maybe I’m amazed”, “Heart of the country”, “Jet”, “Warm and beautiful”, “Listen to what the man said”, “Dear boy”, “Silly love songs”, “The song we were singing”, “Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey” y “Another day”. También publicó en ese CD “Sing the changes”, “Jenny Wren”, “Save Us”, “Mrs Vandebilt”, “Mull of Kintyre”, “Let ‘Em in”, “Let me roll it”, “Nineteen hundred and eighty five” y “Ebony and Ivory”. En tanto, en el disco 2 incluyó: “Band on the run”, “Arrow through me”, “My love”, “Live and let die”, “Too much rain”, “Goodnight tonight”, “Say say say (2015 remix)”, “My Valentine”, “The world tonight” y “Pipes of peace”. El CD lo completan los temas “Dance tonight”, “Here today”, “Wanderlust”, “Great day”, “Coming up”, “No more lonely nights”, “Only mama knows”, “With a little luck”, “Hope for the future” y “Junk”.
